Lady Birds fall to second ranked Schoolcraft (November 18)
The Schoolcraft Ocelots proved they were worthy of their high ranking, as the Ocelots topped the hosting Kirtland Lady Firebirds 90-44.
Firebird men lose by seven to Schoolcraft (November 18)
The Kirtland Firebird men's basketball team dropped to 1-4 on the season, after dropping a 70-63 home contest to the Schoolcraft Ocelots.
Lady Birds' doomed by first half turnovers (November 14)
The turnover bug doomed the Kirtland Community College Lady Firebirds, in what was the team's home opener on Nov. 14 against the Rapids Community College Raiders. This time falling 81-62, dropping their record to 0-2.
Firebirds mauled at home by Panthers, 70-61 (November 10)
The Kirtland Community College mens basketball team suffered its third consecutive loss, falling to the visiting Davenport University JV Panthers, 70-61, at the McGregor Athletic Complex in Mio on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Lady Birds' second-half rally falls short in loss (November 7)
A sluggish first half cost the visiting Kirtland Community College womens basketball team, as the Firebirds were shot down in their season opener, 67-64, by host Columbus State Community College on Saturday, Nov. 7.

A trio of scored in double figures Saturday, Nov. 7, but that wasn't enough for the Kirtland Community College mens basketball team to avoid its second consecutive loss at the Triton Tip-Off Classic.

The Kirtland Community College mens basketball team suffered its first loss of the 2009-10 season, falling to host Triton College, 77-56, in a first-round matchup of the Triton Tip-Off Classic on Friday, Nov. 6.
Kirtland battles Warriors for season-opening win (November 2)
The Kirtland Community College mens basketball team started its season exactly the way it wanted, with an impressive 71-54 victory over the visiting Rochester College JV Warriors at the McGregor Athletic Complex in Mio on Monday, Nov. 2.
